GISF in collaboration with the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers’ Association (ICoCA) launched a survey to better understand NGOs practices, procedures and policies vis-à-vis private security. They invited HQ, regional and country-level staff from GISF member organizations to share their experiences.
The speakers were:
-
Lisa Reilly, Executive Director, GISF
-
Chris Galvin, Head of Communications & Outreach, ICoCA
-
Juliette Jourde, Research & Outreach Assistant, ICoCA/GISF
-
Elodie Leroy-Le Moigne, Plan International, Global Security Advisor
-
Fodeba Diallo, Red Cross, Côte d’Ivoire, Safety and Security Officer
-
John Davies, Director and Country Manager (South Sudan), Archer
As a proud ICoCA member, Metropolitan Security “MS” is arrogantly announcing its participation in this informative webinar conducted in October 20, 2021 in the attendance of Mrs. Adela Obeid, where today, humanitarian NGOs’ contracting of private security providers continues to raise crucial questions for the sector. This is why MS will be always willing to benefit from GISF staff experiences and know-hows”.
