The Diplomatic Spouses’ Association of Lebanon (DSAL) hosted a vibrant and successful 2024 International Food Festival today, May 29th, 2024, at the beautiful St. Joseph Church in Achrafieh, Beirut. Held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the event was a delightful showcase of international cuisine and a testament to the power of community spirit, proudly sponsored by Metropolitan Security.
A Global Feast for the Senses
The fascinating setting of St. Joseph Church provided a charming backdrop for this international culinary adventure. Embassies and diplomatic missions, including those from Beit Halab Restaurant and Jaber Jaber Sons representing Lebanon, proudly displayed their national dishes. Guests were treated to a dazzling array of flavors from around the world, with offerings from Brazil, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Egypt, and many other nations. From the savory aromas of curries to the delicate sweetness of pastries, the festival offered a culinary journey that tantalized every palate. Spouses of diplomats were particularly present, adding a touch of European and Arab culinary heritage to the mix.
